Improved Wi-Fi stability for the Smart Lock 3.0 Pro
In this firmware version, we have made significant improvements to the Wi-Fi stability of the Smart Lock 3.0 Pro. Our Smart Lock now has enhanced self-healing capabilities that automatically reconnect it to the Wi-Fi network in the event of an interruption. Thanks to a new and improved reconnection methodology, this process is now even faster, ensuring that any connection issues are resolved promptly. In addition, these enhancements reduce the Smart Lock's power consumption.
Highest security standards
Security is one of our main priorities in product development! That's why we use state-of-the-art encryption mechanisms.
With this update, existing encryption methods have been replaced with new ones. This way, we continue to ensure maximum security when encrypted data is exchanged between the Smart Lock and our servers. Although there is no visible impact on our customers, this is an important update to maintain the highest security standards.
MQTT
Since the MQTT API is now a part of the official firmware release and provisionable via the recent App releases, we have removed the debug version of the API. Additionally, we have made some minor bug fixes for the MQTT API to enhance its functionality and improve its performance.
Performance improvements and bug fixes
- This update addresses an issue that could cause high battery consumption of your Smart Lock 3.0 Pro, resulting in rapid drainage of the batteries or Power Pack. If you have experienced this issue, we highly recommend updating your Smart Lock 3.0 Pro to version 3.6.9 to resolve the problem.
- We have also been working on minor changes and improvements in the background. This makes the Nuki Smart Lock run even more smoothly.
