The Keypad has seven snap-in points—three on each side and one below the fingerprint sensor. The first time you try to install it, the latching mechanism may not work as smoothly as expected. Therefore, press with force on the respective snap-in points so that the Keypad is securely fixed.
Note:
Make sure you hear a clear clicking sound for each snap-in point. The click confirms that the Keypad is securely attached.
Step-by-step installation guide
Follow these instructions to ensure the Keypad is installed correctly and securely:
- Mount the Keypad
First hang the Keypad on the top edge to hook it securely. Now press the Keypad downwards carefully. - Lateral snap-in points
Start by engaging the top snap-in point on one side. Repeat the process on the opposite side.
Now go to the center snap-in points. Again, first press the snap-in point on one side, then on the opposite side.
Then also repeat the process for the lower snap-in points on the right and left. - Lower snap-in point
The last snap-in point is located below the fingerprint sensor. Press it with force until you hear a click here too. - Check that you have installed the Keypad correctly
Make sure that the Keypad is resting seamlessly on the surface and cannot come off. There must be no visible gap between the underlying surface and the Keypad, even in the lower area.
Your Keypad is now properly and securely mounted. You can now continue with the set-up.
