How guests get access to the accommodation

Depending on your individual setup your guests receive invitation codes for locking via the Keypad and/or the Nuki App Additionally you can add an access link to your guests invitation, so they can unlock/lock your devices without downloading the Nuki App.

  • Nuki App
    Guests receive an invitation code that authorizes them to lock and unlock the door with their smartphone. To redeem the invitation code, guests need to download the Nuki App.
    Within the booking period, they can lock and unlock the door as many times as needed via Bluetooth. The permission will be deactivated and deleted automatically afterwards.
  • Setup with Keypad
    Guests receive an individual entry code that allows them to lock and unlock the door directly via the Keypad. To use the entry code, guests don't even need the Nuki App. Within the booking period, they can lock and unlock the door as many times as needed with the Keypad entry code. The permission will be deactivated and deleted automatically afterwards.
  • Web link
    Guests receive an access link within the invitation. With this link they can unlock and lock Nuki device(s) without downloading the Nuki App. Within the booking period, they can lock and unlock the door as many times as needed via the access link. They must be present at the location of your listing to use it. Therefore, the guests need to enable location services on their smartphone and have an active mobile internet connection.The access link will be deactivated and deleted automatically afterwards.

Remote access to the Smart Lock is not allowed for your guests due to security reasons.
