Connect your Smart Module directly to your electromechanical lock system. This article provides information on how to install your Smart Module.
General safety information
- Turn off the power supply to your door control before you start.
- Keep all existing wiring in place. You may need to adjust the clamps to connect the Nuki cables to your door cables. Do not adjust your existing wiring by removing or replacing cables. The Nuki cables are connected in addition to the existing wiring.
Altering the existing wiring during installation can cause damage, malfunctions, or fires. It will also void your warranty and guarantee.
DIY installation in a flush-mounted box
You will need the Nuki App to install the Smart Module. Open the app, tap the menu (three bars in the top left corner), and select "Manage devices". If you are new to Nuki, open the app and select "Set up device" > “Smart Module”. The Nuki App will guide you step-by-step through the correct wiring and mounting.

In addition to the provided materials, you will need:
- 3 clamps (5-port, 3-port, 2-port)
- Isolation tape or similar material to isolate unused cable.
