We are constantly refining the adapter based on user feedback. The latest version of the adapter is much more stable and less likely to break. All Smart Locks sold since November 2025 come with this adapter.
Did you purchase your Smart Lock before November 2025?
Before ordering: Check if the adapter is broken. If so, order the new and improved adapter for free in the Nuki Shop. If the adapter is intact and your Smart Lock turns without resistance, please contact Nuki Support.
Once you have received the new adapter, make sure you insert it with the protruding side first.
