How do I know when my Smart Lock battery is low?

As soon as the battery state of your Nuki Smart Lock drops below 20%, you will receive a warning. This way you have enough time to replace the batteries.

Nuki App

You receive a battery warning via the Nuki App. Simply tap on the bell symbol at the top right.

A blinking Smart Lock

You also see a low battery directly on the Smart Lock: the LED flashes white or red (depending on your Smart Lock Generation).

Push notifications

You can additionally receive push notifications when the battery level drops below 20%. In the Nuki App, simply go to "Features & Configuration" and "Notifications". For these notifications you need a Nuki Web Account. Simply activate Nuki Web in just a few steps.

Email notifications

To receive email notifications log into your Nuki Web account and activate "Battery alerts via Email". You will be notified by email when it is time to change your batteries.
