Steps to activate Tap to Unlock
- Open your Nuki App and select your Smart Lock.
- Go to “Settings” > “Keypad” > “Tap to Unlock”.
- Then, select the Smart Home Mode.
- The app will display information about the Smart Home Mode. Depending on your setup, you will either be guided through the Matter activation or directly to the Tap to Unlock activation.
- For both, the Nuki App will display supported Smart Home apps (Apple Home or Samsung SmartThings).
Simply follow the instructions in your Smart Home app to activate Tap to Unlock and to add a card to your wallet.
Note:
- You can only use Tap to Unlock in one Smart Home ecosystem. Apple Home Keys and Samsung Digital Home Keys cannot be used simultaneously for one Smart Lock.
- Make sure your Hub and Smartphone are using the same Wi-Fi during setup.
