Nuki can send you notifications for specific Nuki device activities, such as important warnings when you need to change your batteries. Here's how to manage and activate these notifications using your Nuki Web account.
How to activate push notifications

Open the Nuki App:
Tap on your device in the Nuki App. Then navigate to ”Settings” > ”Features & Configuration”. -
Select notifications:
Log in with your Nuki Web account. This step is essential as notifications are transmitted through your Nuki Web account.
New to Nuki Web?: Follow these steps provided in the app to set up Nuki Web. -
Using multiple accounts:
Any Nuki Web (Sub-)Account can be used to activate push notifications as long as the Nuki device is connected to it. -
Sharing notifications:
To allow your partner to receive the same notifications, log in to Nuki Web with your partner’s smartphone. Go to ”Settings” > ”Features & Configuration” > ”Notifications”. Alternatively, create a sub-account for your partner. -
Creating Sub-accounts:
Go to the Rights management section of your Nuki Web account and create a Sub-account.
Ensure the Sub-account has access to the Activity log of the device. This is necessary to enable push notifications.
Tip!
To receive warnings when the door is open, select the Smart Lock paired with the Door Sensor in your Nuki App. Then go to ”Features & Configuration”, and select ”Door Sensor” > ”Door open warning”.
No or delayed push notifications?
If you have activated notifications but don't receive them or receive them with a long delay, follow these troubleshooting steps:

Disable and re-enable notifications:
1. In your Nuki App, disable all notifications under ”Settings” > ”Features & Configuration” > ”Manage notifications”.
2. Close this menu to save the configurations.
3. Re-open the menu and re-enable the desired notifications. -
Reconnect your device:
1. Remove your device from the Nuki Web account. To do so, select your device in your Nuki Web account and click on the menu in the upper right corner (three dots). Click ”Delete”.
2. Reconnect the device via your Nuki App. Go to ”Settings” > ”Features & Configuration” > ”Activate Nuki Web” and log in to your Nuki Web account.
3. Re-enable the notifications you want to receive under ”Manage notifications”.
