How the Nuki App Mode for Tap to Unlock works

The “Tap to Unlock” feature is now available with the Keypad 2 NFC. It has two Tap to Unlock modes: the Smart Home Mode and the Nuki App Mode. This article provides detailed information on how to use Nuki App Mode with Android and iOS devices. 

Nuki App Mode users

With the Nuki App Mode, anyone with a Nuki App permission for your Smart Lock will be able to use Tap to Unlock. Simply invite new users via your Nuki App.

Nuki App Mode with iOS

1. Unlock your phone.
2. Tap it on the Keypad 2 NFC.
3. A notification will appear on your screen. Tap the notification.
4. The Nuki App will now open and unlock your door.

Note: You don’t need to open the Nuki App manually.
