Locking directly with your Nuki device

You have several options to lock and unlock directly with your device: You can control your Smart Lock and Smart Door by pressing the button or turning the knob. When leaving your home simply press the button twice to activate Lock`n`Go. For the Opener you can activate Ring to Open and the Continuous mode by pressing the button. You can always open your door with your mechanical key from the outside if your cylinder supports the emergency function.

Locking your device via button or key

From the inside, you can lock or unlock your door by pressing the button on your Smart Lock or Smart Door. Alternatively, you can simply turn the knob on the Smart Lock or Smart Door, as if you would turn the mechanical key. From the outside, you can always lock and unlock your door with your mechanical key if your cylinder supports the emergency function.

Opening the door via the Opener button

You can activate Ring to Open as well as the Continuous Mode by pressing the button on the Opener. If you want to change the button settings, first choose your Opener in the Nuki App and enter the settings. Then go to “Features & Configuration” “Button, LED & Sound” “1x pressing” or “2x pressing” to set which action should be performed when you press the button.

Lock ’n’ Go - press the button and leave your home

The Lock ’n’ Go feature is especially useful if you want to leave your home. When you press the button on your Smart Lock or Smart Door twice, the door will be unlocked (if it is not already unlocked). Then, you have 20 seconds to go out the door. After 20 seconds, the door locks behind you. Your smartphone remains in your pocket.

You can change the time span until your door is locked: Tap on your Smart Lock or Smart Door and enter the settings. Then go to “Features & Configuration” “Lock ‘n’ Go”. You can set a time span from 5 to 60 seconds according to your preferences.

You paired a Door Sensor to your Smart Lock? Now, it locks your door as soon as it is closed and the latest after the time period you set in your app.

If you have started Lock ’n’ Go and want to cancel it, just press the button twice again.

You can also activate Lock ‘n’ Go” via your smartphone.
